Description Larry is one of the zoo keepers at Ardougne Zoo and wants to go and see the penguins in their natural habitat, he wants you to go with him. But what will start off as a peaceful experdition will turn out to be a big adventure.
Requirements

lvl 10 Hunter, lvl 30 Agility, lvl 30 Crafting and lvl 34 Construction

Items Needed Hammer, raw cod, silk, Spade, 1 mahogany Plank, 1 normal plank, 1 Soft Leather, 1 steel bar, 1 swamp tar, 5 feathers, 10 Steel nails, 10 Oak Planks.

To Start Talk to Larry
Instructions

1) Talk to Larry, he can be found in Ardougne Zoo. He will ask you if you want to go an adventure to see the penguins in their natural habitat, agree and bring him a Hammer, a Spade, 10 Oak planks and 10 Steel nails. Now talk to Larry and you will travel to an Iceberg with him.

 

2) Once there walk up to a snow patch and use your oak planks to make a bird hide, now use the spade with the snow to cover the bird hide with snow. Now enter your bird hide and watch the cut-scene, note what 3 emotes the penguin performs.

 

3) Now find larry and talk to him. Larry will tell you that the penguins are acting strangly, agree with him and you will sail back to Rellekka.

 

4) Once in Rellekka find Larry and talk to him.

 

5) Larry will tell you a plan he has been working on which involves you shrinking to control a clockwork penguin. He will need you to make a lvl 3 crafting table inside anyone's house, a Steel bar, a piece of silk and a normal plank.

 

6) You will need to create the clockwork mechanism, you can make this by using the steel bar at a crafting table in someone's house. Now click clockwork toys and then click on clockwork penguin.

 

7) Go back to Ardougne Zoo and talk to Larry, he will ask you if you have the equipment, tell him yes and you will travel back to the iceberg. Once there go and find Larry, he will tell you that the penguins have disappeared and the bird hide has been broken. He will tell you that you will have to test it at the penguins back at the zoo.

 

8) You will now be teleported back to the zoo. Once there go and find Larry and speak to him, he will shrink you so you can fit in the penguin, at this point make sure you have no weapons equipped. Now enter the penguin enclosure and talk to any penguin. The penguins will not trust you unless you perform the 3 emotes, once you have done that you will gain their trust.

 

9) The penguins will tell you to speak to the penguin operatives, they are disguised as a sheep. You can find them in Lumbridge sheep pen. Talk to Larry, he will tell you to meet him in Lumbridge by the Sheep pen.

 

10) Once in Lumbridge, find Larry, select the icon 'Tuxedo-Time', this will turn you into a penguin. Now go in the sheep pen and talk to the penguin operatives, they will not rust you and will ask you for the secret password. So instead get a raw Cod and have Larry report you back to the zoo.

 

11) Once at the zoo give any penguin the raw cod and they will tell you the secret password., which is 'Don't trust the walrus'. Now return to the penguin operatives and tell them the secret password. They will ask you to investigate Farmer Fred, you can find Farmer Fred in the building West of the Sheep Pen.

 

12) Talk to Farmer Fred and afterwards return to the operatives, they will give you a mission report and ask you to take it to then penguin outpost, accept their task. You will need to have your 1 swamp tar and 5 feathers from this point. Now talk to Larry and have him teleport you back to the Iceberg.

 

13) Once at the Ice berg go North West and find the KGP Agent. After performing the 3 emotes from earlier, he will request identification.

 

14) So now head South and find the penguin called Noodle, he will agree to trade you his identification and a report for 1 swamp tar and 5 feathers, agree. Now go back to the KGP agent.

 

15) Once you have talked to the KGP agent enter the avalanche. Now inside open the door to the left and talk to the KGP agent, hand over the mission report and you will now be required to take a physical.

 

16) To take the physical head West and go through the door to the agility course. Once you have done that head West and follow the signs to the checkered starting line.

 

17) Now enter the water and avoid the crushers otherwise you will get damage. Now climb on top of the stepping stones and make your way to the top. Make sure you tread softly under icicles, and finally cross the ice.

 

18) You will now have to watch a cut-scene, and once it has finished talk to the agility instructor. The agility instructor will give you permission to use the agility course whenever you like. Now exit the agility course and go back to Larry and talk to him. Larry will tell you to find the War room.

 

19) So head back to the avalanche. Once there head North to some large doors, unfortunately the guard will not let you through as you will need proper clearance. So instead head South East and go through a door, when inside speak to Ping or Pong.

 

20) You will now have to have a conversation about not being able to use instruments because of not having thumbs. They will ask you to get them a set of bongos and a cow bell. To find out how to make a set of bongos and a cow bell, return to Larry.

 

21) When you have return to Larry ask him how you make a set of bongos and a cow bell, now head back to Lumbridge and go to the East Cow pen, near the gates top Al Kharid and steal a cow bell from one of the dairy cows.

 

22) Now use the mahogany Plank with the soft leather and you will make a set of bongos. Now head back to the Iceberg, Larry will not be able to teleport you back to the Iceberg, so instead head to the boat near the entrance to Keldagrim.

 

23) Now head back to the avalanche and give Ping and Pong the instruments. You will now have to watch a cut-scene about Saturday Night Live. The guard by the big gate entrance will leave you his post to deal with Ping and Pong.

 

24) Now exit the room and head North to the Big Gates, operate the controls and open the gate. Now head East and enter the War Room, you will now have to watch a cut-scene where your cover is blown and you will get locked up with some lvl 54 Icelords. Kill one and exit via the gate.

 

25) Now head to the Eastern side of the room and exit by using the chasmin the wall. You will end up outside the entrance to the secret outpost. Now head back to Larry and tell him what happened, he will now congratulate himself for suspecting the penguins, you will now watch a cut-scene which will involve a giant clockwork penguin. Once you have watched that the quest will be completed.
